Telugu Television Writers' Association and Bharath Cultural Academy have jointly conferred Mahakavi Kaloji Smaraka Puraskaram on Tollywood's ace lyricist Sri Kanukuntla Chandrabose. This was announced by the president of the said bodies, Nagabala Suresh Kumar. A citation, an award, and a cash prize of Rs. 10, 116 come with recognition. The Award last year went to Suddala Ashok Teja and in 2014, it was JK Bharavi's.
The award ceremony will be held at Ravindra Bharati and the event will be attended by Sri Indrakaran Reddy, the Housing Minister, Telangana, Padma Devendar Goud, the Deptuty Speaker of Telangana Legistlative Assembly, KV Ramanachari, principal adviser to Telangana Government, Dr. Paruchuri Gopalakrishna, the President of Film Writers' Association, Mamidi Harikrishna, Director of Culture, Sri Desapathi Srinivas, special official at CMO, C Parthasarathy, the senior IAS officer, several litterateurs, and others will grace the occasion.
