The past week has seen innumerable rumours about the sequel of the Dhanush starrer, Maari. Following the unfurling of a photo of the bound script of Maari 2 written by the director of Maari, Balaji Mohan, there have been many rumours about the shooting of the film and its release. We spoke to the director himself and he has given us exclusive information on the progress of the sequel. He revealed, ‘’Dhanush sir has just read the script of Maari 2 and he liked it very much and has given the nod for the film. But there have been no further discussions regarding the logistics and the commencement of shooting or the release date. We plan to have a discussion very soon’’ This means that the film is definitely happening and we can expect it in 2017 but there has been no official discussion between the hero and the director. So let us wait for further details about the film.
