Actor-director Sudeep has said that he has not avoided media for his latest film 'Manikya', but could not meet the media persons during the shooting of the film because he had a hectic schedule.
Recently there were rumours that Sudeep is avoiding media off late. The reason for such kind of accusation is Sudeep from the beginning of 'Manikya' had kept the media outside and didn't give any information about the film. Sudeep used to convey the news about the film through social networking sites and did not give any information to the media till the release of the film. So, there was an assumption that Sudeep is avoiding the media off late.
But during the first press meet of the film on Friday night at the JW Marriot in Bangalore, Sudeep cleared the assumptions that he has not avoided media. 'I have not avoided the media at any point of time. The reason I could not interact with the media during the making of the film was the hectic schedule and nothing else. I have shot the film for more than 140 days and it was a hectic schedule from the beginning to the release. So, I could not come open in the media about my film and I have no reasons to avoid the media' said Sudeep.
