As the Bachcha family is the main star cast of 'Sarkar Raj', the film has now got a larger than life image.

The fans of the unpredictable director Ram Gopal Varma also is waiting for him to break from the series of failures at the box office and deliver a super duper hit film that will silence all the critics who labeled the failure of 'Aag' as the start of the decay of Ram Gopal Varma's creativity.

Silently behind all the hoopla and non stop media focus on the follow up of the film 'Sarkar', Ramu is working on a project which has the nature for which he is considered an expert and one which comes under the genre horror.

Now is there a need to tell how Ram Gopal Varma changed the way in which horror movies were seen in Bollywood after he ventured into making the fear creating films and the number of times the maverick has with his dark and unexpected shots given the viewers a feeling that their intestines are going to burst out from their mouths and the hearts going to stop pumping.

So here is he again dealing with the spirits, ghosts, and dark stories for which Ramu has the same passion and never ending curiosity just like he has for making gangster movies.

'Phoonk- A Black Magic Story' by Ram Gopal Varma will hit the screens on August 22.

The only reason the film is not discussed much now is because it has relatively unknown faces to the viewers of Bollywood.

But Ram Gopal Varma has not often relayed on the star power to make his movies successful.

The film which will also be released in Tollywood titled as 'Raksha' has the highly talented Kannada actor Sudeep with Amrutha Khanvilkar, Ahsaas Channa who is a child artist, Shrey Bawa, Jyothi Subhas, Ashwini Kalsekar, Javed Rizvi, Anu Ansari, ZAKIR Hussain, Shankar Sachdev, KK Raina, Ganesh Yadav, Madhuri, Parundhare, Bharat Kaul and Kishore Kada.

The story of 'Phoonk' is a reflection of the mindset of the director who calls himself an atheist.

The trend setter director believes that until there is a rational and scientific explanation to each and every one of an unbelievable occurrence, he will be considering the happenings as supernatural ones.

In the director's own words, " 'Phoonk' is the story of a confirmed atheist whose belief systems are shaken up when his loved ones are subjected to unspeakable horrors by forces whose very existence his rational mind refuses to accept. It is also the story of a fanatical devotee who is forced to turn to turn her back on God in the face of traumatic experiences"

The director warns that the movie will scare the hell out of the viewers and that the element of fear that will be experienced by the watchers will get inside the veins and nerves and will plague the entire belief system making people highly vulnerable and will put the viewers into an emotional state wherein everyone will start fearing the most inane objects which are normally taken for granted in the daily life.

Ram Gopal Varma who has now started the journey to regain full control of his lost territories due to the disappointing flicks which has become history now might have for sure taken extra care to make sure that 'Phoonk' will be successful in haunting us for a long time to come.

So will 'Bhoot' turn out to look like a story made for scaring only the little kids once 'Phoonk' hits the screens?
