by mymazaa.com

The rock star is back.

His last few movie albums 'Rocky', 'Dil Diya Hai' and 'Anthony Kaun Hai' may not have been as smasher of a success as majority of his other albums have been in last couple of years, but one can't, by any stretch of imagination, pull him out of the race. In fact with some of the latest developments on the professional front, he has turned out to be a man who initiates a race of his own.

This time around the race belongs to Himesh Reshammiya - the actor, lead protagonist, and the narrator!

Welcome to the world of Reshammiya where he takes you through the escapades of his life, his love story, his 'surroor' and some of his little known facts - all in the words of one man: HR - Himesh Reshammiya!

Making his debut as a lead man in the film 'Aap Kaa Surroor The Moviee The Real Luv Story', Himesh Reshammiya gets into a tell tale mode as he is set to act in the costliest movie [Rs. 75 crore] ever made in India. Produced by Vijay Taneja and directed by Prashant Chaddha, the man who has directed all his music videos, the film would star fresh faces as the leading heroines and would be shot across different countries. Needless to say, the film would have 9 new tracks composed and sung by Reshammiya!

To mark the launch of the film, a 5 minute promo has been created. One of the longest ever promos witnessed for a Hindi film, the best part about it is that more than just being a regular song promo, it actually acts as a show reel of sorts for Reshammiya and takes you through his different moods. Read on to know more!

The promo begins with quotes from National and International press about the astounding success that Himesh Reshammiya had during last few weeks. Actual clippings from the crowds getting ballistic during the concerts are shown along with shots of superhit songs from films like 'Tom, Dick and Harry', 'Aashiq Banaya Aapne', 'Ahista Ahista' where Reshammiya has featured.

An intense background music accompanies these collage of shots which is taken to heights when clippings are taken from his 'Aap Ka Surroor' hits like the title song, 'Naam Hai Tera', 'I Love You Sayyoni', 'Vaada Tainu' and many more. The pacing is just perfect for the amalgamation of these shots while the narrative hooks on the viewer completely to the proceedings on screen. The promo reaches the peak with Reshammiya shown in a close up while crooning his biggest ever hit - 'O Huzoor..Tera Tera Tera Surroor'!

At this moment comes the breaking news of arrival of a 'Major Motion Picture Unfolding The Truth Behind The Enigma' - Aap Kaa Surroor!

'Bhagwan Ka Screenplay Bhi Ajeeb Hai....Kabhi Kisi Ko Mukammal Jahaan Nahi Milta' 'Har Insaan Ne Kabhi Na Kabhi Kisi Se Pyaar Kiya Hai...Main Bhi Kiya Hai'; Aur Agar Meri Ye Love Story Maine Aap Logon Ke Aage Share Nahi Ki, To Meri Zindagi Adhoori Hogi'

These are the lines narrated by Reshammiya in his trademark attire topped by a cap as his voice is heard in a heavy bass. Looking extremely confident in front of the camera, Reshammiya creates an impression right away as an actor. Touted as Reshammiya's 'REAL LOVE STORY', the mood is set for 'Aap Kaa Surroor'!

From here begin an array of new scenes that have been directed for the video of 'Tanhaaiyaan', an original song composed for Reshammiya's debut film. With an electrifying background music accompanying Reshammiya's walk down a busy street while wearing a black overcoat, 'Tanhaaiyaan' kick starts on an extremely positive note.

There are glimpses of a new female face also shown along with the song which is a sure shot superhit from the moment GO due to the trademark Reshammiya look, feel, rhythm, rendition, arrangement and composition. One of the best shots of the promo come a few seconds later as freeze frames of traffic moving down the road are shown with Reshammiya looking at it from the top in his usual pensive mood.

Story moves on as the lady is shown boarding a train and going somewhere far away with Reshammiya crooning painfully for the love of his life. All alone in this big world, he visits a fair, drives a car, sits near a lake and is generally isolated.....all of this before a twist in the tale takes place!

One of the best shot sequences for a video arrives when he walks down the stairs of a monumental building that appears to be a historic site or an educational institute from the West. The place has been covered excellently through director Prashant Chaddha's lenses as the glory of a place like this is captured with the widest possible lens to give it a grandeur appeal.

This is not all as there are dozens of men, women and children in black walking down in symphony down the stair to make for a breathtaking view. Each of them carries a violin box with them and the reason behind that is clear when they all become a part of the huge orchestra moments later. Reshammiya addresses a huge International crowd while readying them for hearing out his love story and all this happens with Prashant covering the ecstatic moments from all possible camera angles while making a great impression throughout.

The last shot of the promo is a defining moment as Reshammiya is back in his private little world of a study with 4 artifacts highlighted on his table - a notebook with a pen, a small clock and above all - his blue denim baseball cap!

A film that would also tell the real reason of Reshammiya wearing the cap in all his videos, 'Aap Kaa Surroor' is slated to release in June 2007. Watch out for this one since if the film is indeed made for Rs. 75 crore, then it is bound to see the biggest worldwide release for an Indian film ever!
