About 90 per cent of the talkie part and canning of three songs were completed for 'Notebook', directed by Chandu and produced by Vellampalli Prasad on the banner of Tenth Class Productions.

Rajiv, son of music director Koti and a new girl Gayatri are making their debut as hero and heroine through this film.

Producer Vellampalli Prasad says, 'We will complete shooting the remaining talkie part and choreography of songs soon. We have so far shot the film in various beautiful locales in village backdrop such as Ramachandrapuram, Kunkuduru, Kolla and other villages. Chandu molded the film in his own inimitable style while debutants Rajiv and Gayatri showed excellent performance. While watching the direction, I had got confidence that it would be a big hit than 'Tenth Class' which came in his direction. The music by Mickey J Meyer would remain a highlight.'

Director Chandu says, 'The film is a love story with village as a backdrop. A notebook has a great value in everyone's life. There is a good scope for music in this film. About 40 new faces are being introduced through this film. We are sure that the film with all new faces would be a big hit.'
