Gopika is busy shooting in Thirunelveli for a new film titled Veerappu. She plays opposite popular Tamil director Sundar C in the movie.
The movie is reportedly a remake of popular Malayalam film Spatikam.
Says Gopika," The year 2006 has been fabulous for me. I managed to give hit films not just in Tamil but also Malayalam. Hope the luck continues this new year also."
Gopika has a spate of films in both the languages.
She says, "I want to do films in both Tamil and Malayalam simultaneously. I want to establish a place for myself in both the industries'.
For now, she says there are no big plans to do a Tollywood film.
