Music director Deva has been selected for the coveted 'Music Director of the Decade award' for his compositions in Kannada films during the last decade.
He was selected for the award following a public opinion poll. The award is being given by Aryabhata Cultural Organization, one of the oldest cultural outfits in Bangalore at a function to be held on April 26.
On 23 April, Deva will be given an award by V C Guganathan Trust at Rani Seethai hall.
On the occasion, veteran director V C Guganathan releases his book Kaathalum Alithalum.
