The way films are being shot in London at a break neck speed these days, one wonders if the locations used in the films may soon get dried up in the same way as was in the case of Switzerland a few years back after Yash Chopra made them fashionable.
The latest film to be shot in London is Arjun Rampal's debut production 'I See You'. Starring Rampal [of course] along with his invisible love (new find Vipasha), the film has been shot extensively in London, though the film still manages to give fresh vibes.
In recent times, some of the high profile films that have been shot in the city are 'Rocky', 'Aap Ki Khatir', 'Dil Diya Hai' and 'Aksar'. Before this, Chopras and Johars too have visited the city for a major schedule for films like 'Lamhe', 'Dilwale Dulhaniya Le Jayenge', 'Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham', 'Kuch Kuch Hota Hai', 'Mohabbatein' and 'Mujhse Dosti Karoge'. Even Subhash Ghai couldn't resist the city's charm as he shot his 'Yaadein' there.
Well, this is not all as some of the smaller films like 'Umar', 'Katil Kab Kyon Kahan', 'To The London Calling' and 'Naughty Boy' too have taken their entire cast and crew to London and shot their films there!
In the coming days, there would be a lot of London to see when major films like Akshay Kumar/Govinda starrer 'Bhagam Bhag', Milan Luthria's 'Hat Trick', Big B's 'Cheeni Kum', Sanjay Gupta's 'Dus Kahaniyaan', Shaad Ali's 'Jhoom Barabar Jhoom', Abbas-Mustan's 'Mr. Fraud', Vipul Shah's 'Namastey London' [obviously] and Suneil Shetty's 'Amar Joshi Shahid Ho Gaya' release.
