Actor Jagapati Babu, who impressed with his performances in films such as Nannaku Prematho and Srimanthudu, might play the antagonist in Chiranjeevi's 150th film, which is tentatively titled Kathilantodu. Apparently, director V.V Vinayak is really impressed with the different kind of shades the actor has essayed in his recent roles and hence, is said to have roped him in.

While there's no official confirmation yet on this development, sources reveal that both Chiranjeevi and Vinayak are keen on bringing Jagapati on board. Jagapati, however, has signed two new Tamil projects including the highly anticipated Vijay 60 and might find it difficult to allocate dates. Nevertheless, he's yet to take a call on the opportunity.

The film is the official remake Tamil blockbuster Kaththi, in which Bollywood actor Neil Nitin Mukesh played the suave villain.
