As confirmed officially, Tamil Nadu theaters which were shut down for four whole days and incurred crores in losses is finally going to open tomorrow on July 7th. A new joint committee has been formed, one on behalf of the TN government and another on behalf of the film industry.
Both committees will look into the local body tax issue and submit a report after which a revised announcement is made. For now, they seem to have arrived on an amicable decision.
It is to be seen how the ticket pricing will change once bookings open, possibly by tonight to start reservations for the weekend.
