The buzz surrounding actor Nandamuri Balakrishna's 100th film Gautamiputra Satakarni is intensifying with every passing day. The latest, we hear is that actress Kajal Agarwal is in talks to play the lead opposite the veteran star for his landmark film.
The film will be directed by Krish Jagarlamudi, who helmed the National award-winning Kanche. Heroine character of the film is said to be very crucial and director Krish is considering Kajal for the role. The actress has already played princess roles in films like Magadheera and Sardaar Gabbar Singh and makers are planning to finalize Kajal as they feel she will do justice for the role.
Makers have earlier contemplated to rope in Nayantara as the female lead but she hasn't agreed for the film due to date issues.The puja formalities will be held on 22nd of this month and regular shooting will start from May 10th. On June 10 makers will release the first teaser of the film to mark the birthday of Balakrishna.
