'Krrish' will usher in a new genre of cult Superhero

by mymazaa.com

For the first time in the history of cinema, a cult superhero is the protagonist of a film. While Superman, Batman, Spiderman, Zorro et al, were comic super heroes, it is for the first time that a real, living character is portrayed as a superhero.

Hrithik Roshan plays that cult superhero in FilmKraft's KRRISH, a concept written, produced and directed by Rakesh Roshan, as a sequel to his earlier blockbuster KOI'MIL GAYA. Admittedly, Roshan was inspired to make a sequel, by LORD OF THE RINGS, in which a ring carries the film forward.

However, in the case of KRRISH, it is a living character. The film has, besides Hrithik, Rekha, Priyanka Chopra and Naseerudin Shah in key roles, with music by Rajesh Roshan, special effects by Mark Kolbe and Craig Mumma of Hollywood, thrills by Tony Ching Siu of Hong Kong and Sham Kaushal, background music by Salim-Suleiman etc. It is slated for worldwide release in June.
