Kusthi, a movie starring Prabhu and Karthik, was lying in the cans for a longtime.
Finally when efforts were taken to release the movie, a Chennai-based financier had obtained a stay from the Madras High Court from releasing the movie.
The petitioner had alleged that the producers have taken dues from him to produce the movie and have not repaid it.
The court granted a stay untill further hearing.
Kusthi directed by Raj Kapoor has a big star cast and music is scored by D Imman.
