Mariyaan has wrapped up the censor formalities and has bagged UA certification from the Censor Board.
The UA is due to the film’s theme and heavy violence in climax. This caused the film fail in getting the tax exemption which made the producer Aascar Ravichandran unhappy and he is looking to go to the revising committee.
Produced by Aascar Films, Mariyaan casts Dhanush and Parvathi in the lead roles. Bharat Bala has directed the film. Marc Koninckx cinematography will be one of the highlights of the film and AR Rahman provided musical scores are already rocking the charts.
