Top class film maker Sanjay Leela Bhansali has denied rumors linking him to choreographer Vaibhavi Merchant. Bansali who is at the moment in Paris for his opera titled 'Padmavati' is a happy man being single.
Bhansali who rang in his 45th birthday yesterday has divulged that 'Padmavati', the opera that he has been directing for the spectacular Theatre Du Chatelet in Paris has been his best Birthday gift ever. It is reported that though Bhansali thought he had to toil very hard for the staging, only on coming to Paris did he know that working could be so much fun. Sanjay is all praise for his team and actors.
Though the director missed being with his mother, he was made to feel very much at home by his adorable team, who gave him a surprise birthday party inclusive of the birthday cake et al in an alien land.
So anything special for Bhansali on his birthday?
The director agrees that he had been getting calls and SMSes wishing him right from early in the morning. But all that Sanjay has on his mind right now is the opera and his team. He is all praise for his choreographer Tanushree Shankar with whom he is working for in this opera, and like the others in his team she too has gelled into the opera perfectly.
Heavy rehearsals are going on and the opera will go on stage in a couple of weeks from now.
Well.. with all the things being on the right note the opera is all set to be staged in a couple of weeks from now, and also seems to have the right ingredients for a successful one at that.
