Nithin Renji Panicker, who is the son of renowned writer-actor Renji Panicker has assisted directors like Shaji Kailas in the past. The teaser of the film which released a few days back has went on to break many records and has fetched close to 1.5 Million views in Youtube. Kasaba, is definitely high on expectations and the film is the biggest release of this season. The film is also Mammootty's biggest release in the recent times. The film has released in close to 101 theatres in Kerala. The film has also released in a good number of screens in Tamil Nadu. Kasaba has Mammootty in the role of a police officer named Rajan Zakaria. The film also marks the Mollywod debut of Tamil actress Varalaxmi Sarathkumar. Kasaba also features Jagadish, Neha Saxena, Sampath, Alencier Ley etc. in prominent roles.
