The arrested actress Maria Monica Susairaj and LML Jerome Mathew by Mumbai police in connection with murder of ex boy friend Neeraj hails from Mysore district of Karnataka. She is known as Monica in Kannada films. She made her debut in director S.Govindu's debut Kannada film 'Jhoot' with Saurav as the hero.
Later Monica acted in OK Saar OK, Ekadantha, Excuse Me Kannada films. The star dance program 'Kuniyona Baara' she participated kicked up a row in a private satellite channel. She walked out from the middle of the program claiming the decision of judges is wrong. Monica is a professional dancer. She runs a dance school in Mysore tried her luck in films. She could not gain ground in Kannada and that made her to look for avenues in Mumbai like how Bhavana, Daisy Boppanna, Isha Koppikar, Ruchita Prasad, Archana, Sanjana invaded Mumbai for meaty offers.
In last March she was called for audition to 'Mahabharata' television serial in Hindi. She developed friendship with Synergy Ad Labs organizer Neeraj that later blossomed to love.
