The Nadigar Sangam held its general body meeting a couple of weeks and among various issues discussed includes enrolling more members for the association.
It is a prerogative that any actor or actress in Tamil cinema should be a member of the Nadigar Sangam.
A host of actresses from other languages who took the Tamil cinema by storm were not inclined to become members of the association. However thanks to the persuasion by the association, they have finally obtained membership paying the annual fee.
Among them is Shriya. The actress, who hogged the limelight playing Rajnikanth's ladylove in Sivaji, has chosen to become a member of Nadigar Sangam paying lifetime subscription.
