Nagarjuna’s upcoming film, ‘Payanam’ is taking shape in the hands of Radha Mohan. The movie is a bilingual film in Tamil and Telugu versions. Nagarjuna is acting in a direct Tamil film after 14 years.
According to industry buzz, Payanam is inspired from the Kandahar flight hijack incident. However, Radha Mohan denied to this. He is said to be implementing few changes in the script since a multilingual film starring Mohanlal under the direction of Major Ravi is also based on the same incident.
Payanam will have Nag playing the lead role as a police officer and Prakash Raj in the negative role as a terrorist. The movie is currently under going its second schedule at Hyderabad. The film will start its third schedule from 10th April at RFC, Hyderabad.
