After Mahesh Manjrekar’s ‘NataSamrat’, Nana Patekar is busy with some serious work in Goa. Before you start assumptions, let me tell you he is working with the very talented actor-director Prakash Raj for his hindi debut, ‘Tadka’ which is a remake for Malayalam blockbuster ‘Salt and Pepper’.
‘I loved the concept when Prakash was discussing it with me and I asked him why wouldn’t he make it in Hindi too! Then he said I’ll make it if you star in it. That is how I accepted this film. Besides it’s a Prakash’s debut it Bollywood filmmaking, how often do you get to see nana in romantic Avatar?’ laughed nana Patekar sharing his excitement about the film.
It’s a story of a 50 year old guy who lived almost all his life alone and fell in love with a lady. It’s an adult love story. Shriya Saran will be seen romancing with Nana for the first time. Ali Fazal, Taapsee Pannu and Rajesh Sharma will be seen in some important characters too. This film is expected to be released by December 2016 in Hindi, Telugu, Tamil and Kannada. Maestro Ilayaraja is composing tunes for this romantic flick.
