Nayanatara starrer Anamika, the remake of Vidya Balan starrer Kahaani will hit the big-screens shortly. Sekhar Kammula is the director of the film.
For the first time, Sekhar Kammula is donning the director cap for a remake and surprisingly a thriller. Kammula has made ample changes to the script and he says that the film conveys a message to current society and he has chosen the film after the Nirbhaya incident and working with women empowerment movement.
Featuring Harshvardhan Rane, Vaibhav Reddy in prominent roles, Anamika is produced by Endemol India banner. Anamika audio composed by Keeravani will be launched in December.
