Is there a youth film that is also meant for their parents?
Don't be perplexed. Bhanu Shankar's Valliddaru Vayasu Padahare is certainly one.
As the director Bhanu Shankar himself says, 'This is a movie full of youthful energy, but speaks about parental responsibility and bonding'.
Produced by M. Kumara Swamy on SKS Creations, Valliddaru Vayasu Padahare has Tarun Chandra and Devaki as hero and heroine.
Both of them are debutants in Telugu (Tarun has acted in a Kannada movie). But there is a gaggle of senior stars like Suhasini, Jayasudha, Raghuvaran and Chandramohan. K. Viswanath is making a special appearance as a judge and Posani Krishnamurali is a lawyer. Telengana Sakunthala, Venumadhav, Narsing Yadav and Brahmanandam take care of the comedy department.
Bhanu Shankar's first film was Yevare Athagadu.
Bhanu Shankar insists that there are many things in Valliddaru Vayasu Padahare, which are different. 'Don't ask me what. But you will find them interesting when you see it,' he promises.
This is a small budget movie with the accent on script and story.
Both the debutants also say the same thing. The film has a cute story and it would be the right introduction for us, they say.
The elders in the cast also feel the same thing.
The director points out that the climax would be pretty dramatic. After seeing it you will understand why we dedicate this movie to every parent.
Valliddaru Vayasu Padahare is set for release in July.
