One of the controversial movies of the year 'Pappilio Buddha' has been selected into the famous Montreal festival.The movie will be screened in the 'Focus on world cinema 'section of the festival which will kick start by the 22nd of this month. Papilio Buddha told the plight of landless Dalit Adivasis of Kerala. Directed by Jayan Cheriyan, the movie is produced by Thampi Antony and Prakash Bare in the banner of kayal films . The movie which has already won at Athens International Film and Video festival has also won the special awards for direction and best actress in the recently announced state awards.
