Pasupathy - Back with a bang

Thanks to Kamal Haasan's Virumandi, Pasupathy got a big break in Kollywood (of course, he caught our eye in Dhool).

Playing a ruthless villain in Virumandi, he grabbed the attention of filmmakers and soon became a prominent feature in several movies. Thanks to Kamal Haasan again, he changed tracks to play a hilarious role in Mumbai Xpress followed by a heroic role on par with Vikram in Majaa, a remake of Malayalam blockbuster Thommanum Makkalum.

However a slew of failures did dampen his spirits and he chose to go on a wait and watch mode.

He is now cast in a prominent role in director Shankar's home production Veyyil alongside Bharath. The shooting for the movie is completed and would hit the theatres soon.

Says Pasupathy, 'After a series of films, I decided to go slow. I re-assessed myself and decided to take cautious steps. Thankfully came across the Veyyil script. My role as Bharath's elder brother plays a major part in the movie and has come out very well'.

On a big break after Majaa, the actor, says, 'It was deliberate. Gave me an opportunity to find out my strength and weakness. Now I have resumed my journey for better fortunes'.
