PPC acquires DASHAVATAR

PPC has tied up with Anushvi productions for 'DASHAVATAR' a mythological tale about the divine incarnations of Lord Vishnu in an animated format. The company believes that it is very essential for the present generation to understand mythology. Thus, giving it to them in an enjoyable animated package would be the best approach.

Shailendra Singh, MD PPC says of the company's latest acquisition 'Our country's mythology has such strong elements of story telling that it's unbelievable that most of us are still in the dark about it. It's imperative that this generation's children are educated about it as mythology is the integral part of our culture. We made Hanuman for this very reason and now comes Dashavatar.'

He adds 'It's a film which can be watched together with the entire family and also imbibes the values and mythology of India.

All of us have grown up hearing stories of our mythology and its one topic which would be the fancy of all genres! Indian Mythology is one of the richest elements of Indian Culture, which enriches it further and makes it a unique one in the world. Different stories in Indian mythology have been passed from generation to generation either by word of mouth or through carefully stored scriptures.'

Mr. Vimal Shah, Director, Anushvi Productions, says, 'Indian Mythology is a great asset to our culture. Our morals and values are greatly based on Historical events and Legends. The Vishnu Puran is one of our oldest mythological text which narrates the various incarnations of Lord Vishnu such as Lord Rama, Lord Krishna and Lord Buddha. Therefore, giving us the very basis of the legends like Ramayana, Mahabharata, Buddhism and The Holy book - The Bhagawat Geeta."
