After a long gap, cinematographer-director Rajeev Menon will wield the megaphone again. He would be directing a Hindi movie later this year featuring Amitabh bachchan in the lead role.
Addressing press persons to announce the launch of his Mindscreen Film Institute where training in photography would be imparted, Rajeev Menon said the syllabus in film institute is outdated. Hence he has taken the lead in teaching aspiring cinematographers the latest in the business.
The surprise guest at the event was director Manirathinam. Rajeev, after Mumbai is cranking the camera for Manirathinam's Guru.
At the Mindscreen Film Institute every year 10 students would be enrolled and would be exposed the latest technologies in photography and would be part of Rajeev's team and work in his personal guidance besides attending special workshops.
