About 1008 Rajini fans from the Tiruppur Workers Association have tonsured their heads at the Pazhani Temple recently. The hardcore Rajini fans had prayed for his complete recovery and since the Superstar is back in Chennai after a one-month stay at the Singapore hospital where he had gone for advanced treatment, the fans decided to fulfill their oblations.
Speaking about this, a Rajini fan said that they consider the star as one of their family members and this is the major reason for praying for his welfare.
