Rajnikanth heaped laurels on Sathyaraj for his excellent performance as rationalist leader in the movie Periyar directed by Gnanarajasekaran.
'Super Star' watched Periyar at a special screening arranged for him at the Four Frames Theatre in Chennai recently.
Rajni was welcomed by Gnanarajasekaran and Sathyaraj. He watched the film and praised Sathyaraj for his acting. He also appreciated Gnanarajasekaran for creating magic on the screen.
"I felt like watching a Mani Ratnam film", said Rajnikanth.
That Rajni, a well-known believer and spiritualist, appreciated a film on non-believer goes to show his broad-mindedness.
