Ranjitha is all set to make a comeback in a big way in Kollywood. The once-popular actress who acted opposite the likes of Karthick, Arjun and Sathyaraj, was out of filmdom after her marriage.
She even appeared in a mega-serial on a popular Tamil satellite channel.
Now thanks to director Bharathiraja, who introduced her to films with Nadodi Thendral, she is making a comeback to Kollywood.
Ranjitha plays Bollywood star Nana Patekar's wife in Bommalattam, a bi-lingual being directed by Bharathiraja in Tamil and Hindi simultaneously.
Also Ranjitha is nursing ambitions to direct a Hindi movie.
Ranjitha said that she had completed penning the storyline and script for her maiden directorial venture in Hindi and works to translate the screenplay and script in Hindi is currently on. She is optimistic that she would commence the movie early next year
