Director Bala and Bharathiraja has recently got into a ugly spat regarding the story of Kuttraparambarai. Bala has warned Bharathiraja and writer Rathnakumar not to degrade his image. (Watch Bala's Speech here).Now writer Rathnakumar has said that he has filed a case against Bala in Writer's association.
He said he wrote 'Kuttraparambarai' and registered it in the writer's union in 1999."Bala’s script is based on Vela Ramamoorthi’s Kuttra Parambarai novel, which is indeed based on his 24 year old script" he added.
