Rehman does it again

A R Rehman has many firsts to his credit. Now a global attempt of his in conjunction with other big names of India is set for a Guinness World Record mention. A recent social campaign titled 'Stand Up Against Poverty, Stand Up For Millennium Development Goals' by ad man Prasoon Joshi, in which Rehman has participated, could qualify for an entry into the Guinness book of records.
The campaign, which featured Sachin Tendulkar, Aamir Khan, Rahul Dravid and A R Rehman, had participation of over 9.7 million Indian citizens which made it the largest figure in the world from a single nation.

The campaign was intended to raise awareness among the public to eradicate hunger, poverty, and diseases from the society. This is carried out as a part of United Nation's Millennium Campaign where 189 nations pledged for the noble cause. The Indian campaign, which includes messages from the personalities, has been shown in the channels all over India.

The commercial was shot in Mumbai and Chennai.
