Producing a remake Kannada film and indirectly obtaining the government of Karnataka relief of 100 percent entertainment tax exemption is not so easy now. The government has constituted a committee to look in to such offenders.
Dr.Baraguru Ramachandrappa heads the committee to keep a strong vigil on remake films and cheat the government to take ET exemption. Veteran cameraman S.Ramachandra, Basavaraj Urs, KCN Mohan, N.R.Nanjunde Gowda, Y.K.Muddukrishna, Mars Suresh, R.R.Odhugowder, senior journalist B.N.Subramanya are in the committee appointed by the government.
