Mega power star Ram Charan's upcoming film 'Dhruva' continues to do bulky pre-release business in all areas. After stunning everyone by selling the Ceded rights of Dhruva for Rs 9 crore, makers have reportedly clinched another exorbitant deal. As per latest reports, the film's Karnataka rights have been sold for a whopping price of Rs 6.5 crore to Kolar Kumar.Dhruva is an action thriller and not the regular masala entertainers that Charan generally does so this price is considered by trade experts as a risky bidding. If we dig into the past, Charan's last films 'Bruce Lee' and 'Govindudu Andarivadele' have both collected just over Rs 4 Cr share in Karnataka. 'Yevadu' had performed better but it still collected only Rs 5.5 Cr. Considering the numbers, even with hit talk, 'Dhruva' may not recover the hefty investment. On the other hand, Charan's stylish looks, thrilling teaser, Geetha Arts production values, Surender Reddy's substantial direction and Hip Hop Tamizha's scintillating music are major strengths for Dhruva, the Telugu remake of Super hit Tamil movie 'Thani Oruvan'.Makers are planning to release the film worldwide on 2nd December.
