Almost 50 per cent shooting of 'Seema Sastry' directed and produced by G Nageswara Reddy on the banner of Sri Katyayani Creations with Allari Naresh and Farjana in the lead was completed. It has a variety tagline called 'Bheebhatsamaina Factionist'. The entire family moves around the Brahmin communities and it is basically an entertainer.
Almost every character in the film would evoke laughter, though the situations in the film would be very serious. It is the story of one Subrahmanya Sastry, who is very clever. How he won the love of a girl called Surekha Reddy, the daughter of a big factionist, is the subject.
The film also has five action scenes and the director cum producer is very hopeful that the film would be a big hit. The producer is planning to release the film in the second week of February.
