Actor Silambarasan has decided to withdraw his Nadigar Sangam membership. The multi-talented actor has confirmed this decision just a few hours ago.
Asked about the reason he said there are various reasons that necessitated this hard decision; the primary ones being the Nadigar Sangam's failure to support him when he faced severe problems. Though the actor opted to not mention, we could very well interpret that he is referring to the Beep song controversy which made him receive brickbats from various sections and he was dragged to the Court even after when he clarified that he was not responsible for the release of the controversial song.
Simbu also stated that he is so upset with the Star Cricket Tournament conducted by the Nadigar Sangam on Sunday, which according to him made actors look like jokers.
Simbu neither participated nor attended the tournament as a guest. In last year's Nadigar Sanga Elections, he contested for the post of Vice-President under the team lead by Former President R.Sarathkumar.
