After much impressed by Simbhu’s performance in Gautham Menon’s latest flick ‘Vinnaithandi Varuvaya’, everybody is calling him by his character name in the film as Karthik, these days.
Circles close to the film industry and Simbhu say “Silambarasan too likes himself to be called Karthik, since he has started loving his character ever since Gautham narrated the story to him. The ‘VTV’ character has many resemblances to his nature, and he is the one who has a lot of respect towards love quite like Karthik,” circles close to him say.
“The feedback the actor has been getting ever since the film hit theatres is stunning,” they say and add: “One day, a Singapore girl shot him a mail saying she decided to mend fences with her boyfriend whom she ditched a year ago thanks to VTV.”
Some of the sources on speaking about Simbhu’s forthcoming characters say “He is fully aware of the fact that run-of-the-mill kind of movies would not work. He is planning his forthcoming ventures with extra care.”
