Kamala Ganesan, wife of late actor Sivaji Ganesan, breathed her last at a private hospital in Chennai on Friday after a prolonged illness
She was 68. She is survived by two sons--actor Prabhu and actor-producer Ramkumar and a daughter, Shanthi.
Hospital sources said that she suffered from pulmonary embolism--Blockage of the pulmonary artery. Family members were at her side when the end came at 10.50 am.
Her body is being taken to her Boag Road residence.
