Though it has been a small film, it ran 100 days in some theatres in both Andhra Pradesh and Telangana states.Coming up with a refreshing treatment, Pellichoopulu caught the attention of young movie goers. It later also caught the attention of industry, thus proving that movies with novelty will be rewarded.Pellichoopulu also gave a new hero to the Tollywood in the form of Vijay Devarakonda. Heroine Ritu Varma was a big plus.
