The remake film of Telugu blockbuster 'Anusooya' in Kannada 'Anu' starring Pooja Gandhi and Rashmi (both shot in to fame from two super hit films 'Mugaru Male' and 'Dhuniya' respectively) a thriller produced by Balu has completed special effects work for 12 days at Rajan Special Effects Studio situated near Hebbal in Bangalore. Sound plays a major role in this film. For a normal film the special effects work would be over in three or four days. But for 'Anu' there is thrill in every scene and special effects work is more says producer Balu.
The assistant director of original Telugu film Shivaganapathi is independently directing the remake version in Kannada. Niranjan Babu is the cameraman.
Pooja Gandhi plays the role of a crime reporter while Rashmi is a student of Medical College. Nagkiran is the hero. Balu the producer of this cinema is also playing an important role. Dattanna, Sunderraj, Balraj, Sangamesh Upase are in the supporting roles.
