Earlier, it was mentioned that Kamal Haasan’s daughter Shruthi Haasan is playing a lead role in a remake of her father’s yester-year blockbuster film ‘Sigappu Rojakkal’.
The original movie ‘Sigappu Rojakkal’ was directed by veteran filmmaker Bharathi Raja and now, the remake version will be handled by his son Manoj. Shakthi, who is waiting for the release of his recent flick ‘Aattanayagan’, will play the lead role opposite Shruthi Haasan in the movie.
And now, the latest buzz is that director Manoj has requested Kamal Haasan to sing a song in the film. And he also made a request to Sridevi through his father to play a special role in the movie. She is yet to finalize her decision. Jeevan will be playing the role of Kamal played in the original. Yuvan Shankar Raja will be scoring the music for this new version.
