A successful Malayalam film is being remade into Telugu under the debut direction of action choreographer Vijayan with Srihari in the lead.
It may be mentioned here that Srihari had started his career as villain and later turned a character artiste and finally settled as hero. He also had several successes to his credit.
It is learnt that the director had made some changes to the original story to suit the Telugu nativity. 'Sri Mahalakshmi Hatya Case' is the title that was confirmed for this film.
It is learnt that the film would go to sets on December 16 at Ramanaidu Studios in Hyderabad amidst several prominent film personalities.
Smt Santha Kumari, wife of Srihari, is producing the film. The story of the film revolves around a murder mystery and it is a suspense thriller, say the director and producer.
