Sudeep Wins Best Supporting Actor at FilmFare

Actor ‘Kichcha’ Sudeep has bagged the best supporting actor at the Film Fare Awards at Hyderabad on Saturday night. No, this award is not for any of his Kannada film, but for his much acclaimed performance in ‘Eega’.
Sudeep played the role of an antagonist in ‘Eega’ being directed by Rajamouli and his performance was much applauded all over. The film not only was appreciated by the audience but also won the Best Feature film and Best Special Awards at the National arena.

This time the film swept most of the awards at the Film Fare including best film, best director (S S Rajamouli), best female actor (Samantha) and best male actor in a supporting role (Sudeep). The highlight is however a Kannada actor winning a best supporting actor in a Telugu film.
