At least, he is the link between Dasarath and Jagapathi Babu. It is a well-known fact that Ram Prasad happens to own the Walden chain of book stores.
Incidentally, Dasarath happens to be a book worm and happens to know Ram Prasad rather well.
It was he that Dasarath actually narrated the script of Swagatam to. So that's how we hear the movie happened.
