For some months now, the Government of Telangana has been taking slew of initiatives to encourage the Telugu film industry. The Govt's initiatives are targeted at helping small producers. Only in February, it had conceded, in a first, the demand for "construction of mini-multiplex theatres outside Hyderabad".
Back then, it had promised a single window clearance for clearing shooting permission. The decision has come into force.
