Taapsee Pannu is heaving a sigh of relief of late. Admitting in an interview with a morninger that it was getting tough to get good films till the film 'Pink' happened to her, she said, "I am working on my next film now. It is a celebration for me. It has been tough to get good [film] subjects, as I am relatively new. People in the Hindi film industry haven't seen much of my work."

For an actress, who has acted in over 20 films in the south in the past six years, she still felt like an 'outsider' in Bollywood. "I am an outsider in all possible ways. I don't have filmi friends or a godfather or three to five movie deals with a studio," she added.

In 2013, film-maker Shoojit Sircar cast Taapsee in a film called 'Runningshaadi.com', which never got released. She then made her Bollywood debut with 'Chashme Baddoor', which she is proud of. "I was looked upon as a commercial mainstream heroine. Had I done 'Baby' or my latest film first, people would have thought of me as an offbeat or artsy heroine," said the actress, who's now shooting for Neeraj Pandey's next production, 'Naam Shabana'.
