With a staggering remuneration of close to Rs. 3 crore per film, Lady Superstar Nayanthara is the highest paid heroine in South India.Reports are coming in that Nayan is charging 3 crore for the recently launched suspense-filled horror thriller, Kolaiyuthir Kaalam.
Furthermore, Nayan has yet another female-centric movie, Aramm and Thani Oruvan's director Mohan Raja's next featuring the current hot star Sivakarthikeyan.Nayan was the first actress to breach the Rs.1.5 crore remuneration mark following the super hit of Thala Ajith's Billa. She kept on churning out hits after hits and thus her pay checks kept on getting a hike. Nayan has now reached a stage where it'll take many years for her counterparts line Anushka, Samantha, Kajal and others to overtake her in terms of remuneration.
