Mahesh babu adopted a village in Telangana state named as Siddhapuram post the release of the film.
• This movie inspired Mahesh Babu to adopt villages as in the movie the protagonist adopts villages.
• Cinematographer Madhi hunted places in countries like France, Spain, Singapore and others to find out a suitable place, but none of them suited their demands. Finally they chose a palatial palace in Malaysia and shot the scenes there.

During a song sequence shoot, Shruti haasan was wearing a glamour outfit and one of the light man took her image on his mobile. The image was shared through Whatsapp and it went viral. Most of them said it as 'Desperate Publicity'.
