In the last two days there are rumours that 15 minutes of scenes have been added to Uppi2. Even online there are such rumours and explanation for the added cenes. But it turns out that there has been no addition to the film.
The film's editor Sri Crazy Mindz said that it is the figment of somebody's imagination and the film team has nothing to do with it. It is common for filmmakers to trim their films after release if they find it is too long.
But adding new scenes is very very rare. In the case of Ekangi Ravichandran shot additional scenes to his film within three days of the film's release. The climax of the black and white Rajkumar film Bidugade was changed after people protested the sad ending. But these are very rare cases.
