The president and secretary of the Movie Artistes Association, Mr K Nagababu and Mr Mallikarjuna Rao, in a statement, condoled the death of popular artiste of yesteryears G Varalakshmi.
In a statement they said, 'G Varalakshmi is a name to reckon with in the Telugu film industry. She was a great artiste. It was due to her performance that some films became big hits. The MAA deeply mourns the death of the great artiste.'
